Winsford is a town and civil parish within the unitary authority of Cheshire West and Chester and the county of Cheshire. The town sits on the southern fringe of the North West region approximately 10 miles north of Crewe, 20 miles east of Chester, 25 miles south of Manchester. Winsford has a current population of 30,481 (2011 census).
