David Hunter is an International Property Consultant, specialising in supporting the creation, operation and liquidation of property funds and companies.
He is currently a non-executive director of various companies, listed and unlisted, overseeing investments in the UK, India, and South Africa. He is Chairman of a UK-based real estate debt fund manager and also has corporate advisory roles in the UK and France.
David’s background is as a leading fund manager, most significantly from 2001 till 2004 as Managing Director of Aberdeen Asset Management’s £6.5bn UK and international property fund business.
He was President of the British Property Federation in 2004, is an Honorary Professor at Heriot-Watt University and is Honorary Swedish Consul to Glasgow.
Barry is the designated Senior Independent Director. He is an international consultant with a focus on real estate, strategy and risk, who has more than 40 years’ experience advising on property.
He was an adviser to the Bank of England from 2003 to 2014 and is a former global President of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. In 1996, Barry became the first chartered surveyor to become a full equity partner in any firm of chartered accountants, worldwide, when he joined the Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) partnership, where he worked until 2011.
Barry has been a non-executive consultant to Knight Frank LLP, and currently holds independent non-executive directorships of two publicly-quoted companies – Granite REIT which is quoted on the NYSE and TSX and conwert Immobilien Invest SE quoted on the Vienna Stock Exchange.
Barry became a Member of Council of The University of Bath in 2014 and holds Visiting Professor appointments at two UK universities.
Matthew was an adviser to the Consensus Business Group. He was Group Finance Director of McCarthy & Stone plc and also Investment Director of Beazer plc.
A Chartered Accountant, he has significant experience as a finance director, predominantly in the property sector.
Ian Mattioli – Non-Executive Director
Ian has over 30 years’ experience in the financial services industry and set up Mattioli Woods with Bob Woods in 1991. It now has assets under advice and administration exceeding £4bn.
His personal achievements include winning the London Stock Exchange AIM Entrepreneur of the Year award.
Nathan qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993 with Ernst & Young, specialising in providing mergers and acquisitions advice to a broad range of quoted and unquoted clients in the UK and abroad, latterly as a Director and Associate of Johnston Carmichael.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland and holds the Corporate Finance qualification from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (“ICAEW”).
Nathan is also a trustee of Leicester Grammar School
